Some awesome finds there! May be hope for me yet.

Tell me, do you find your AT Pro flattens batteries in storage?

Hi Gold Flinger

Haven't really noticed - the longest I’ve had it sitting around between digs is about 3 weeks and they still showed as full power. I have noticed that if they get low and I leave them in and then go out a few days later the power level shows that is has increased - crazy!

What size coil have you got - I'm thinking about getting a smaller coil to add to the hunt.

Just the stock coil.
The guys in the states seem to like the small coils with many saying they never take them off.

Yeah I also just have the standard - I'm keen to get the next size down just to help narrow the signal.

Got out for 2.5 hours today at a new spot… no trash, no pull tabs, no bottle tops – complete silence between targets! So much so I had to keep checking that I had the ATP turned on! – Never seen anything like it and still loads to go back for. I found 8 coins in one hole! 6 silver and 2 pennies. In fact a large number of targets had multiple coins in them. No big silvers but, I don’t mind as I was just so happy to be in such a clean place for once :)

Thanks Mudwiggle - yes I think so. It came up with the same reading as a small silver coin.

Yeah I think so - it has amazing detail. Even the 1873 Penny is in really good condition. Best ones I have found so far.
