Hi guys have any of you guys been to rainy river nelson, if so did you find any colour.
im keen to go but i could be a waist of time.
im running out of options to find gold close to home.

Have you tried the public fossicking areas at Aorere. Paydirt's homepage has maps. Otherwise the rivers in Murchison

i know about the aorere, but its atleast 2 hours drive from nelson, then i rather go to the westcoast or to murch

went to rainy river and got a 4*4 mm flake in the first testpan but that was it no more and it looks like most of the river been dredged, so no use for anyone else to go there.
