Looks the same as this.... http://www.paydirt.co.nz...seeker.aspx#.UgKUqW1IP6U

I was curious if the Lafaytte was a stickers brand, not that this proves it either way.

It states the brand in one of the answered questions on trade me. never heard of it.

the maker has definitely tried to mimic the gold bug looks in a way. anyone with a gold bug would know straight away this is not one. colours look the same but each component is diff. slightly.

i'd put my money on it not performing as a GB2 would that's for sure.

A mate showed me his little detector he got for his young son the other day. we both had a laugh at it - it made noises alright, etc. well, blow me down, i saw a guy with what i'm sure was the same 'detector' come out of the 12 mile the other day! Eddie mate, if you read this we need a pic of the detector.

I wouldn't call it a clone; it looks similar at a glance but is quite different once you take close look at it.

it is a laffayete gold seeker. the name the seller gave is whats written on the coil. its an Italian brand and not that flash. pretty much a beep and dig. max depth was about 5 inches on a big target, eg half crown, penny etc. sold by skylab in christchuch.
