Quick 2 hour hunt tonight brings a bit more silver...and a Gun, the wee pencil sharpener gun was in the same hole a one of the 3ds.
Silver ring and I think the other thing is a belly button piercing, don't have daughters so not sure.

Out for the day with Chrispy, and what a day it was, broke my record for the amount of silver coins found in 1 hunt, 32 today and adding to that 2 bits of 925 Jewellery.
Also a really good condition nz forces button.






Made it to over 600 silvers for this year and steaming ahead to 700

Congrats mate, 32 silvers in one hunt is just incredible. Love the Malaya coin too...bet that's a pretty rare find here in NZ. What is on the silver maltese cross?

Cheers no8, you know the place we went and how hard it can be, the soil conditions made the VDI of the coins lower then normal so it was a matter of picking through what others left behind.
The cross has some old type pattern on it as STG on the back with a little hallmark.

Cool you found a Malayan 10cent, my 1 cent is dated 1941 - Was there a Malayan contingent out here at some stage, training for Pacific action maybe?

Thanks goldlinger, only thing I can think of how the coin got there is from and Australian visitor maybe ?there were a fair few Australian coins found there.
