Sweet finds. Your necklace is probably a good luck watch fob charm from 1910ish
Before it got the bad rep. I have seen a watch fob that's almost identical.CCan't post the pic because it's a jpeg. Google boy scouts of America swastika

Sweet as, I look forward to it. Im doing the old ghost trail in early to mid May (will have to check on exact dates) other than that I should be able to make most weekends work with a little notice. Plenty of room here if Tonz is full up.

Very nice haul of silvers there.

Welcome down anytime m8, meet the chch guy's and do some silver mining

Hell I reckon that'd be something someone should do with the cleared areas in CHCH - they're pulling less silver out of the Waihi Mine!
It would be especially profitable as they'd only need to scrape the first 50cm off the surface.

Next time you're out with him, just pretend to be detecting, and instead watch where he chooses to detect.
Bet you'll get the secrets to his techniques.
(unless ofcourse he is sacrificing chickens... mmm chicken)

Monday hunt at a well hunted, thrashed North Canterbury Domain with a young fella newbie from the Metal Detecting NZ Aotearoa Facebook page, did manage to squeeze out a silver from the ground as I was heading back to the car.
This will eventually become the reality of metal detecting in Christchurch, but it was an awesome sunny day and most enjoyable.

It's an australian!
I wonder where the live ammo came from? Soldiers? Or when Christchurch was the Wild East?

The domain and little town was popular in the day and the huge domain had a lot of military presence even prior to WW1 for training etc
